I bought the Garfield from Greenleaf in 2006 and have only now found the courage to begin building it. I have no real experience building anything (except a birdhouse years ago in high school) so I'm working excruciatingly slowly and with the knowledge that I'll make a lot of mistakes along the way.I did a dry-fit of the house a month ago and was able to get a feel for the house. It was also really helpful to just know that I could assemble it. Seeing it all together gave me a lot of confidence to continue with the project.

I had never even built a birdhouse. So it was quite an experience to build a dollhouse but it is so satisfying to be able to say "I built that!" You have so much fun to look forward to as you decorate and fill your dollhouse. Yours is coming along great - good job.
